"Paid for lack of perfomance"

"What a nice surprise"
So, I don't believe it.
The couple has two children, and the mother has an additional child from a previous relationship.
Following the successful delivery, the dispatcher talked the man through post-birth procedures. The child was taken to a local hospital." [Source]
So you thought the major weight gain was because she quit smoking? I mean, I guess. I know there are different reasons to not realize you're pregnant for a while but not finding out until the kids' already halfway out? That's just downright negligent on her part.
It could happen to anyone, right? Props to him for delivering the baby boy instead of just remaining in a state of shock about the pregnancy like I probably would have.

"Backlash for spreading seeds"
The Flint Journal reports 42-year-old Thomas Frazier was jailed Thursday. Court records say he hasn't made a support payment in six years.
The newspaper says the unemployed man could be held for 90 days if he doesn't pay $27,900.
Frazier says he thinks he fathered only three of the children and that it's unrealistic for authorities to expect him to pay child support that was $3,000 a month at one point." [Source- AP News]

"The consequence of love biting"
But don't fret, she's still alive.
She told police Jerome M. Lucious Jr. of Sheboygan strangled her with both hands and threatened to kill her after she questioned him about a hickey on his neck and slapped him.
Lucious admitted that he threw the victim against the wall Friday and put his hands around her throat after she slapped him, according to The Sheboygan Press. "
Now before I read the story I thought that this fool attacked her for leaving a hickey on him -- I was thinking she was the other woman and he didn't want his main one to find out. Then I read on and see that the reasoning behind his madness is much, much lamer. All she did was ask about the miniature neck bruise and homie went apeshit. It saddens me.
There goes another 21-year-old who had a world of opportunity waiting for him. . .
*cough* okay, maybe not. He was actually a repeat offender and is now facing seven years in prison and three years on probation. Tsk, tsk. If I'm getting strangled for asking about a hickey then I'm sorry, I guess we're both dying that night because there's no way. . .& the truly disturbing part of this is that there's a good chance the victim will go back to him.

Follow-up: "Cruelty to Elders."
Last month in Middlefield, Ohio I mentioned this 40 y/o transgendered woman trying to kill her 70-something-year-old husband by having him swim lap after lap in the pool for no particular reason. Now they believe that she was doing it so she could get his retirement benefits [of course].
She is to be sentenced Friday and could get up to five years in prison after pleading guilty to reckless homicide."
Foxnews recently mentioned that after interviewing family members, their relationship didn't even seem to be romantic. From the history provided in the article I'm going to have to agree that they weren't exactly a match made in heaven.
The whole story is just kind of, well. . .cooky. For lack of a better word. Not that I don't cover other unusual stories, but this one just doesn't seem to be sitting well with me.

"When keeping it real goes wrong."
The accident was reported to local fire and rescue personnel about 1:30 a.m. on March 7, from an address on Rogers Drive. The man who made the 911 call said he had placed a sex toy over a saber saw blade, and then used the power tool on his partner, but the blade cut through the plastic and injured the woman.
The victim, a 27-year-old woman, was reportedly injured and bleeding. She was later flown to Prince George’s hospital center by Maryland State Police helicopter." [Source of all sources- OHN]

"Abused and Misused"
That Cochran character has officially earned himself a one-way-ticket to ruthless jail treatment city. If that's a place, that is. Beating aged women with dead technology, breaking into homes, attempting forced incest, repeat offending. You must not like your life.

"So you want to break up? Think twice."
That makes me so angry. Not just because stabbing someone 6 times after a break up is down right rude, but also because this guy gives new meaning to the phrase 'Indian Giver'. Call me crazy, but I thought certain things like virginity and breast implants were non-refundable gifts.

"Countdown to apology"
Etta James is going on 128 actin' like a damn teenager for the media all because Beyonce out-sang her song for the inauguration. I'm sure you've all already heard about this and are shaking your heads just as hard as I am. Now James is threatening, and I quote, "to beat a b*tch's a*s" [I hate profanity too, but Etta said it - not I] and denouncing Obama as her president. Come on now, Etta.
I understand that she's a soul legend and my feelings would be extra hurt as well if my president chose my understudy instead of me to sing my own song when I'm still alive, but there's no need for name-calling. . .
“You guys know your president, right?” she asked the crowd. “The one with the
big ears? He ain’t my president. He might be yours…” she continued, before
adding that “that woman he had singing for him…she’s gonna get her ass whipped.
The great Beyonce…I can’t stand Beyonce.”
Lol. I'm sorry. I just think sour old women are hee-larious. And you know you're secretly hoping Beyonce sucks it up and stops feeling personally attacked [even if she was] long enough to fire some equally stinging comments. My only question is how long before Etta apologizes? I think this happened a few days ago. Her PR people need to step their games up.

"Texting will lead to nothing but trouble"
I understand that we have evolved as human beings and actual human interaction isn't always necessary but there is something very wrong with texting someone and then not being able to say two words to them when you see them in person. It's just like 'friending' someone on Myspace, seeing them in person, and then questioning your eyesight. It just doesn't add up.
There's nothing wrong with having text buddies though, aka people you know you strictly plan on texting because when you hear their voice it puts you into a coma or makes you wanna throw up a little bit. If it keeps you busy between classes, on the train, or during a break, then go for it. However, obsessive texting is where I would have to draw the line. This is why our generation is going to grow up with carpal tunnel just in our thumbs.
With that being said, you know I just looove seeing this. . .
"Toddlers can soon obsessively text and type like their parents on a pint-sized personal digital assistant made by LeapFrog."
. . I'm guessing that because kids see their parents texting hardbody they feel the need to be a part. That makes sense. It actually doesn't hook up to the internet but just "simulates" texting because apparently toddles aged 3-5 think it's fun. The plus side is that there actually is some educational value in it and kids are allowed to play games. Still though . .is texting really that serious? Fake texting included. The main purpose of this toy was to simulate the Crackberry.
